Nicholas S. Castellano, Chairman of the Putnam County Fish & Game Association Political Action Committee announced the group’s endorsement in a letter to Ball:
Tom King, President of New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, announced his group’s endorsement of Ball in a Press Release:
“The New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, the state’s largest and nation’s oldest 2nd Amendment advocacy organization, announces the endorsement of Greg Ball for State Senate in the 40th district. Our endorsement is based upon his proven record of standing up for the civil rights of gun owners in public and on the floor of the State Assembly. For his service, NYSRPA has twice honored him with our Legislator of the Year Award. NYSRPA believes that Ball’s youth and energy will be an asset in the State Senate and we urge all concerned gun owners to support his campaign.”
Ball’s campaign has also reported the financial support of Northern Westchester Rifle Association, Deer and Elk Farmers of New York, Westchester Bowhunters Association, and the National Rifle Association.
With the support of 2nd Amendment Advocates and Sportsmen’s Groups throughout New York State, Ball has twice in three years been named NRA Legislator of the Year for his defense of 2nd Amendment rights in the New York State legislature. Putnam County Fish & Game will host a fundraiser and Trap Shoot for Greg Ball’s Senate campaign on Sunday, August 29, beginning at 9AM.
