News Alert: We’re Number One – Sixth NY Congressional Win Most in Nation

WE’RE NUMBER ONE!
New York Now Ranks First in Nation
for Republican Congressional Wins

Earlier today, Democrat Congressman Dan Maffei called Republican Ann Marie Buerkle to concede the election for New York’s 25th Congressional District.  Congratulations to Congresswoman-elect Buerkle, her team and all those who supported her during and after the campaign.

Buerkle now joins other Republican victors Nan Hayworth, Chris Gibson, Tom Reed, Richard Hanna, and Michael Grimm, giving New York the most Congressional wins for the new Republican majority than any other state in the nation.

These new members of Congress will head to Washington committed to our shared values – free enterprise, more efficient government, policies that create jobs and the fortitude to keep America safe.

This historic achievement would not have been possible without the unswerving dedication of a fantastic slate of credible candidates, the hard work of our GOP County Chairs and the commitment of our grassroots.  Our GOP committee members and local tea party members from across the political spectrum who rallied behind our Congressional candidates have helped bring better representation to every New Yorker.

We still have the opportunity to win an incredible seventh seat by defeating Tim Bishop in New York’s 1st Congressional district.  Republican Randy Altshular is in a tight battle there and votes are still being counted.  You can support Randy by clicking HERE

Again, congratulations to everyone who helped New York’s Republicans achieve this remarkable goal for the benefit of all our citizens.

-Ed Cox, Chairman
Republican Party of New York State
