As we continue our transition, I am pleased to announce the appointment of two more members of my senior congressional staff.
Don Scott of Bedford is joining our team as district director. Many of you know Don from our campaign, where he was a leader in several capacities. He’s also contributed his energies to Bedford in numerous ways. He served for six years on his local school board, including three as president. Don currently serves as a fire commissioner, wetlands board member, and is chair of his local Republican committee.
Don will lead our district staff, be responsible for monitoring important local issues, and conduct community outreach. You can reach Don at (914) 262-7697 until our congressional office doors open the first week of January.
I’m also excited to announce the appointment of Nathaniel Sillin as communications director. Nat is a third generation Hudson Valley native, and joining my staff will be a homecoming for him. He most recently served as communications director for U.S. Rep. Mike Coffman (R-CO). Nat brings to the position a thorough understanding of the region and nearly a decade of communications expertise.
In his new role Nat will serve as my spokesperson and manage all communications activities. Previously, Nat worked for former U.S. Rep. Sherwood Boehlert (R-NY), for U.S. Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH), and served on the 2005 Defense Base Realignment and Closure Commission.
As always, please contact our office if you’d like me to attend an event, and, of course, to ask any questions that you may have. We’re here by phone at (845) 520-3194 or by email at contact@nanhayworth.com.
With gratitude and dedication to serving you with excellence,
Nan
