STEVE KATZ EARNS SUPPORT, BALLOT LISTING
FROM THREE KEY PARTIES
Conservative, Republican and Independent Parties to List Respected
Assemblyman on Primary Day
August 6, 2012; Yorktown Heights, NY – Assemblyman Steve Katz(http://www.katz4ny.com/) today announced that he has earned the support and nomination from three of New York State’s most respected and influential political parties.
Assemblyman Katz’ name will appear on three separate ballots in the September primary, ensuring that every right-leaning voter will have the opportunity to return him to Albany.
Dr. Katz will appear on the following state ballots:
I.The Republican Party of New York State (http://www.nygop.org/) overwhelmingly nominated Katz during their statewide convention, granting him 97 percent of delegates’ votes.
II. The Conservative Party of New York State (http://www.cpnys.org/) threw their support behind Katz after a careful review of his first-term voting record in the New York Assembly. The Party cited Katz’ tireless efforts towards tax reform, the preservation of life and other key issues that are in line with their platform. Katz’s experience as a small business owner, his preservation of second amendment rights and his common sense approach to conservative values further solidified their endorsement.
III. The Independence Party of New York State(http://independencepartyny.com/) officially endorsed Katz’ reelection to the State Assembly, The Independence Party cited his achievements as a citizen legislator who ascended from the grassroots level, worked diligently and attained widespread respect and admiration based on his accomplishments instead of his connections.
“I am proud to have earned such broad support; each ballot listing places me front-and-center before the people I serve,” said Steve Katz. “I intend to win reelection, return to Albany and continue my mission to restore honesty, dignity and efficiency to State Government.”
Katz’s tireless efforts to push Albany into the 21st Century (which could save the state billions of dollars) takes center stage in his bid for reelection His primary goals include:
ü Tax relief
ü A moratorium on unfunded mandates that drain local towns and city coffers
ü Healthcare reform within the State
ü Ethics reform that restores honesty and integrity to Albany
ü Making New York a business-friendly state
ü Cutting waste and bringing efficiency to how the State Legislature works

This press release of Dr. Katz’ is premature considering there is a hearing tomorrow afternoon deciding whether or not Katz will be on the Conservative and Independent lines due to specific objections which were filed against his petitions. After talking with the BOE in Albany today, we found that no decisions have been formally decided on as far as what line Katz will run under. The BOE is not happy that this information has been released prior to the hearing tomorrow, and has asked that Mr. Gristina respect their process by refraining from releasing information until a decision has been made at the hearing.

The above announcement is both accurate and truthful. Steve Katz will appear on the following three Parties’ ballots: Conservative, Republican and Independent.
Should anyone doubt this claim, they can contact the respective Political Party and inquire on their own.
Or, in the alternative, they can wait for Primary Day on September 13 and see Steve Katz’ name on the ballot with their own eyes.
